[06-17-2020] San Bernardino, CA – 3 People Killed, 1 Injured After a Multi-Vehicle Crash in Pinon Hills

Three people were killed while one person sustained serious injuries after a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Pinon Hills on Thursday evening, June 17th.

According to the initial reports from the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened at around 7:37 p.m. Several vehicles collided on Highway 138 near Oasis Road for unclear reasons. One of the cars involved, a silver four-door sedan, rolled over due to the severity of the impact.

One person had to be pulled out of the wreckage by bystanders. Three people were pronounced dead at the scene while one person sustained critical injuries. The victim had to be airlifted Loma Linda University Medical Center. Another person sustained critical injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Their condition at this time remained unknown.

The fifth victim was evaluated at the crash site but refused hospitalization. No further details about the crash were immediately disclosed. An investigation into the crash is underway.
