[06-08-2020] San Bernardino, CA – Man Killed After an Auto-Bicycle Accident in Rancho Cucamonga

A 61-year-old man identified as Eric John Konz was killed after the bicycle he was riding was hit by a vehicle in Rancho Cucamonga on Monday night, June 8th.

According to the initial reports from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal accident occurred at around 2:25 a.m.

The victim was riding his bicycle at the intersection of Etiwanda Avenue and Whittram Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga when he was suddenly struck by a passing vehicle.

The reason and how the accident happened is currently unclear.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:46 a.m.
