One man sustained serious injuries after a motorcycle accident in Victorville on Monday afternoon, July 20.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident occurred at around 1:08 p.m. at the intersection of San Miguel Drive and Jeraldo Drive. An SUV was attempting to make a U-turn at the intersection when it crashed into a red and white street bike for unclear reasons.

The street bike rider sustained significant leg injuries and had to be airlifted to a trauma center to receive treatment. The SUV driver was reportedly uninjured.
