[08-20-2020] San Bernardino, CA – One Person Critically Injured After a Pedestrian Accident in Fontana

A 44-year-old woman was seriously hurt after getting struck by a Fontana vehicle on Thursday morning, August 20.

The accident transpired at around 9:03 a.m. on Cypress Avenue near Jack Bulik park. The woman was walking from the east side of Cypress Avenue. She headed towards the west part of Cypress Avenue when she was suddenly struck by a black 2012 Ford Focus driving northbound on Cypress.

The reason why the collision occurred is currently unclear. The driver of the Ford Focus remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities. He was identified as a 33-year-old Fontana man. Police don’t consider drugs and alcohol as factors in the accident.
