An unidentified San Bernardino man was killed after a fatal multi-vehicle crash in Colton on early Tuesday morning, October 13.
According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the collision occurred at around 1:52 a.m. on Interstate 215 Freeway near Interstate 10 Freeway.
A 2013 gray Nissan Altima driven by a San Bernardino man headed northbound on 215 Freeway when it rear-ended a 2016 white Freightliner Cascadia driven by a 38-year-old Hemet resident. The Nissan then became disabled as a result of the crash, blocking the no. 2 lanes. A 2007 black GMC Yukon then crashed into the disabled Nissan.
The unidentified Nissan driver was killed in the fatal crash. The identity of the Nissan driver has not been released at the moment.
