[11-17-2020] San Diego, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision in North City Kills One

One unidentified driver was killed in a fiery car crash involving multiple vehicles in North City on Tuesday afternoon, November 17. 

The accident transpired in the 14900 block of San Dieguito Road near Fairbanks Ranch Country Club at approximately 12:30 p.m. 

A McLaren sports car was reportedly traveling westbound on San Dieguito Road at a high-speed rate as it was attempting to pass another vehicle. 

The Mclaren sports car then lost control and collided with a big rig. It later crashed with two other vehicles, including a box truck, before catching fire. 

The McLaren driver was killed as a result of the accident. A passenger from the box truck was rushed to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Additional information about the accident is limited at the moment.
