[11-07-2020] San Diego, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15 Freeway Kills One

One unidentified woman was killed due to a multi-vehicle traffic collision on Interstate 15 Freeway in San Diego on Saturday morning, November 7.

The fatal collision took place on Interstate 15 Freeway near Carmel Mountain Road at around 7:40 a.m. A woman was driving a sedan on Interstate 15 on the wet freeway, which caused her to veer off the roadway and turn towards the No.4 lane.

The woman reportedly overcorrected, which caused her to lose control of her vehicle and spun across the freeway. The sedan was then struck on the driver’s side by a truck initially heading southbound on Interstate 15.

The crash then triggered a chain-reaction collision causing other vehicles to get involved. Around four to five cars were said to be involved in the crash. The sedan driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported at the moment.
