[11-04-20] San Diego, CA – Pedestrian Accident in Rolando Injures One Person

An unidentified 68-year-old man sustained significant injuries after getting struck by a car in Rolando on Wednesday morning, November 4.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident took place in the 6800 block of El Cajon Boulevard at around 7:00 a.m.

A 28-year-old man drove a 2016 Mazda 3 on the roadway when a pedestrian stepped off the center median.

The Mazda driver was unable to avoid the pedestrian and struck him.

The Mazda driver remained at the scene and called the police to report the crash.

The pedestrian was seriously injured from the car crash. He was transported to an area hospital to receive medical treatment.
