An unidentified man was killed after getting struck by a hit-and-run motorist in Vista on Sunday night, July 25.

[07-25-2021] San Diego County, CA - One Person Killed After a Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident in VistaThe deadly accident happened at approximately 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Vista Way and Arcadia Avenue. A southbound white Lexus sedan struck the unidentified man crossing westbound on East Vista Way.

The Lexus sedan driver did not stop to help the victim and drove away from the scene. The Lexus sedan was last seen heading northbound toward Fallbrook. Emergency personnel later arrived at the scene and found the victim lying in the roadway. The man was immediately taken to Palomar Medical Center Escondido, where he was later pronounced dead.

Information about the suspect’s identity, whereabouts, and appearance are unavailable at the moment. Local authorities are further investigating the accident.
