Fatal Motorcycle Accident Statistics
Motorcycle accidents are terrible catastrophic accidents that almost always hurt the rider more than the other party. Motorcyclists are extremely vulnerable to collisions and can sustain catastrophic and fatal injuries easily. For motorcyclists, California is not a safe place. More than 500 motorbikers died in California, and over 15,500 were injured in 2017. The high numbers are not surprising, as California has more than 800,000 motorcyclists.
Motorcycle accidents often lead to distracted driving, speed, drunken driving, ruthless driving, poor weather, bad driving, and a failure to comply with traffic legislation. Motorcycle riders are encouraged to dress properly and wear a helmet to avoid fatal injury whenever they drive their motorcycles.
