[01-10-2021] San Diego County, CA – Bicyclist and Motorcyclist Killed After a Traffic Collision in Jamul

An unidentified bicyclist was killed after colliding with a motorcycle in Jamul on Sunday morning, January 10.

The accident took place on Otay Lakes Road near the Pio Pico RV Resort and Campground at around 9:30 a.m. A group of cyclists was reportedly riding eastbound along Otay Lakes Road when a passing motorcyclist suddenly struck one of the bicyclists.

Both the motorcyclist and the bicyclist sustained fatal injuries from the crash. They were pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victims has not been disclosed.

Information about the crash is limited at the moment.

Motorcycle-Bicycle Collision Investigation is Underway

Local authorities are currently investigating the fatal crash. They will attempt to determine the factors that affected the accident.
