[06-02-2021] San Diego County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Bicycle Accident in Jamul

An unidentified person was killed after a fatal bicycle accident in Jamul on Wednesday evening, June 2.

The deadly accident transpired at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Lyons Valley Road near Kae Crest and Monterey Crest Drive in Jamul.

The bicyclist was struck by an unspecified vehicle under unclear circumstances. How the accident occurred, and the reason why it happened have not been established.

Emergency personnel later arrived at the scene and found the rider on the roadway. Unfortunately, the rider succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
