[10-19-2020] San Diego County, CA – Pedestrian Accident in Mount Hope Injures One Person

An unidentified 43-year-old man sustained serious injuries after getting struck by a passing vehicle in Mount Hope on Monday night, October 19.

According to the San Diego Police Department’s initial reports, the accident happened on Market Street near Interstate 805 at about 7:40 p.m.

A 2001 Ford F-150 was traveling westbound on Market Street struck the unidentified pedestrian in unclear circumstances.

The victim sustained significant injuries from the accident. He suffered from internal bleeding, a fractured left femur, and a broken ankle.

The Ford driver remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities.
