[12-08-2020] San Diego County, CA – Two People Injured After a Major Big Rig Crash in Poway

Two people were hurt due to a significant big rig collision in Poway on Tuesday afternoon, December 8. 

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the accident took place on State Route 67 near Poway Road at approximately 1:00 p.m. 

A big rig and another vehicle hauling a livestock trailer collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. How the crash occurred and why it happened has not been established. 

Two people sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the mishap. Their names and condition have not been disclosed.  A horse and a dog reportedly died as a result of the crash. 

Fuel spilled on the roadway after the collision. A hazmat team responded to the scene to clean up the road. Additional information about the accident is unavailable at the moment.
