An unidentified man was killed after a fatal two-vehicle accident in the Alum Rock neighborhood of San Jose last Monday afternoon, April 13th.
According to the initial reports from the San Jose Police, the accident occurred at around 4:20 p.m. on North White Road and Gion Avenue.
A black 2017 Nissan Rogue was reportedly driving southbound on White Road. The Nissan attempted to turn left onto Gion Avenue, where a green 2002 Volkswagen Passat suddenly struck it.
The Passat was driving south on the northbound side of White Road before the crash.
Due to the severity of the impact, the Volkswagen overturned and crashed into parked vehicles.
The driver of the Volkswagen died at the scene. The Nissan driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the local authorities.

The San Jose Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
