Injuries were reported after a major head-on collision in Paicifca on late Thursday morning, October 21.

For unclear reasons, a white SUV and a garbage truck collided head-on between Linda Mar Boulevard and the Tom Lantos. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.

The accident reportedly resulted in a “major injury.” However, the number of people injured and their condition has not been disclosed.

The road was shut down for two hours to give way for the cleanup and investigation but was reopened two hours later.
