[11-23-2020] Santa Barbara County, CA – Pedestrian Accident in Gaviota Seriously Injures One

An unidentified pedestrian was seriously hurt after getting hit by a vehicle on a highway in Gaviota on Monday night, November 23.

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the accident transpired on Highway 101 in Gaviota in the evening.

A Toyota Corolla struck the unidentified pedestrian walking in the right-hand lane of the highway at the time of the accident.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. They were rushed to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital to receive treatment.
