[07-14-2021] Santa Clara County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Pedestrian Accident in San Jose

A 79-year-old man identified as Arturo P. was killed after a deadly pedestrian accident in San Jose on Wednesday morning, July 14.

The deadly accident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on McKee Road near Jose Figueres Avenue in San Jose. The victim was reportedly walking between crosswalks on eastbound McKee Road when a 2020 Subaru suddenly struck him.

The pedestrian was immediately rushed to an area hospital for treatment. He sustained serious injuries in the accident. Unfortunately, the victim later succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital. The driver that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities.
