One unidentified person was killed after a deadly wrong-way collision in San Jose on Sunday morning, March 21.

[03-21-2021] Santa Clara County, CA - One Person Killed After a Fatal Wrong-Way Crash in San JoseThe wrong-way collision transpired at approximately 8:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Highway 85 near De Anza Boulevard.

An unspecified vehicle was traveling on the wrong side of the roadway for unclear reasons. A total of three vehicles were involved in the collision.

Two of the vehicles were heavily damaged due to the crash, and debris was spread on the roadway. One person was fatally wounded after the collision. They were later pronounced dead. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

No arrests have been made at the moment. Local authorities are currently investigating the accident. They will try to determine why one of the drivers was traveling on the wrong-way and whether they should be held liable for the accident.
