[10-18-2020] Solano County, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash in Vallejo Kills One Person

A 42-year-old man identified as Jack Luu was killed in a two-vehicle traffic collision in Vallejo on Sunday morning, October 18.

The crash occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 80 Freeway near Hunter Hill Safety Rest Area Off-Ramp.

An Acura sedan driven by Luu was heading eastbound on Interstate 80 when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed into an empty parked Dodge pickup truck.

It is unclear why Luu suddenly lost control of his vehicle. He was killed as a result of the accident.

No other people were hurt in the accident. Additional information about the crash is limited at the moment.
