[08-25-2020] Sonoma, CA – One Person Injured After a Suspected DUI Crash in Petaluma

A 34-year-old man was hurt after a suspected DUI driver crashed into the victim’s vehicle in Petaluma on Tuesday morning, August 25.

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the collision occurred at around 5:41 a.m. on Adobe Road near Sonoma Parkway. A Toyota Camry was initially heading westbound along the highway when it suddenly swerved into the opposite lane, causing the Toyota to collide head-on with a Ford C-Max.

Both the Toyota and the Ford driver sustained injuries from the wreck; they were taken to the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital to receive treatment.

Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries two days after the accident and passed away.
