[12-10-2020] Sonoma County, CA – One Person Hurt In a Fatal El Verano Hit-and-Run Accident

A 21-year-old woman identified as Raquel Magana-Arellano sustained severe injuries due to a major hit-and-run crash in El Verano on Thursday afternoon, December 10.

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the accident occurred on Riverside Drive at Craig Avenue at around 5:30 p.m. The victim was hit by an unspecified vehicle heading northwest.

How the collision occurred, and the reason why it happened has not been established. The driver that struck the pedestrian did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. Description of the driver’s appearance and the vehicle has not been released at the moment.
