[08-03-2021] Stanislaus County, CA – One Killed, Another Injured After a Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Empire

One person was killed while another was injured after a motorcycle collision in Empire on Tuesday night, August 3.

[08-03-2021] Stanislaus County, CA - One Killed, Another Injured After a Fatal Motorcycle Accident in EmpireThe accident happened at approximately 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Santa Fe and South Avenues in Empire. A street motorbike and a small gray car collided on the roadway. The motorbike was reportedly traveling at high speeds before the collision.

Due to the severity of the impact, the two people riding the motorbike were ejected and landed on the roadway. The man riding the motorbike sustained fatal injuries from the accident. Emergency personnel attempted to perform life-saving measures on the man. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the woman who was also riding the motorcycle was rushed to Memorial Medical Center in an unknown condition. Both of the motorcycle riders were wearing helmets at the time of the collision. It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
