[10-07-2021] Stanislaus County, CA – Rear-End Crash in Modesto Results in One Death

A 25-year-old man identified as Andrew A. was killed after a fatal rear-end crash in Modesto on Thursday morning, October 7.

The deadly crash happened in the area of Kiernan Avenue and Tully Road in Modesto at approximately 4:00 a.m.

A westbound Honda sedan slowed down for a red light on Kiernan Avenue when a 1973 Datsun coup rear-ended the vehicle. Another vehicle also failed to stop and rear-ended the disabled Datsun coup.

The Datsun coup driver, who was later identified as Andrew A., was immediately taken to Doctors Medical Center for treatment. He was unfortunately later pronounced dead.

The drivers of the two other vehicles were uninjured. Information about the accident is limited at the moment. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
