[05-12-2021] Stanislaus County, CA – Two-Vehicle Collision near Lancaster Road Injures One Person

One unidentified person was seriously injured after a two-vehicle traffic collision near Lancaster Road on Wednesday morning, May 12.

The accident happened on Highway 108/120, just east of Lancaster Road, between Oakdale and Knights Ferry, around 5:30 a.m.

A sedan was reportedly traveling on Highway 108/120 when, for unclear reasons, the driver crossed over the double yellow lines and collided with a Coca-cola bottle truck.

The sedan flipped over onto its side as a result of the collision. The truck was separated from its back wheels.

The sedan driver was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

Local authorities are currently investigating the case. They will attempt to determine the cause and the liability in the accident.
