An unidentified 30-year-old man was killed after a deadly traffic crash involving a motorcycle in Modesto on Sunday afternoon, October 31st.

[10-31-2021] Stanislaus County, CA - Motorcycle Crash in Modesto Results in One DeathAccording to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash happened on Santa Fe Avenue near Lakewood Memorial Park in Modesto. A southbound 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling on Santa Fe when the rider attempted to pass the vehicle in front of him.

The rider then pulled back into the southbound lane and rear-ended a 2015 Infiniti before losing control. Due to the severity of the impact, the rider was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries. The motorcycle rider succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed.

The driver of the other vehicle and her five-year-old passenger were uninjured in the crash. They remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Local authorities are unsure whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the mishap. The accident is currently under further investigation.
