Two people were killed after a fiery two-vehicle traffic collision in Trinity County on Friday, August 14.
According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the crash transpired at around 2:38 p.m. on Highway 299, east of the Shasta-Trinity county line. A Toyota sedan was headed eastbound when it suddenly crossed into an oncoming lane and collided head-on with a Ford pickup truck.
