[04-06-2020] Tulare, CA – Older Man Dead After a Bicycle Accident on Avenue 192

An unidentified 76-year-old man was killed after a car crashed into the bicycle he was riding on Avenue 192 last Monday, April 6th.

According to the initial reports from the local authorities, the accident happened at around 10:30 a.m. on Avenue 192 near Road 200. The older man was riding his bike on the eastbound lanes of Avenue 192 when a Toyota heading eastbound struck him. Due to the severity of the impact, the rider was ejected from his bicycle. 

The bicyclist died at the scene. The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. 

The crash is currently under investigation. Local authorities are trying to determine what caused the incident.
