One of the injured parties in the deadly head-on crash on Highway 178 last June 13, 2022, has been identified.
Peggy K. A., 59, the driver of the Ford, was transferred to Kern Medical Center with minor injuries. Meanwhile, the Tesla driver, 34-year-old Donna M. S. was not injured in the mishap.
This collision does not appear to be caused by drugs or alcohol. This accident is still being investigated, and no charges have been brought as of yet.

One unidentified person was killed following a fatal two-vehicle traffic accident in Bakersfield on Monday afternoon, June 13, 2022.
The accident happened at approximately 12:54 p.m. on Highway 178 just east of the Mouth of the Canyon in Bakersfield.
A white Honda Accord and a white Tesla collided on the roadway under unclear circumstances. How the accident occurred, and the reason it happened has not been established.
At least one person was killed in the mishap. At least two other people were hurt following the collision. Their identities have not been revealed.
Information about the accident is limited at the moment. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
