[11-15-2020] Ventura County, CA – Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident in Oxnard Injures One Child

A 4-year-old girl was seriously hurt after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver in Oxnard on Sunday morning, November 15.

The victim was walking with her mother and two siblings in the area when a passing black Ford Expedition suddenly hit her. The little girl was dragged by the vehicle for around 50 feet after getting hit.

The victim sustained significant injuries as a result of the accident. She was immediately transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The driver did not stop to render aid for the victim and fled the scene. The driver was described as a Hispanic man in his 30s with a shaved head. He was wearing dark clothing at the time of the accident.

Police are actively pursuing the hit-and-run driver.
