[06-13-2021] Ventura County, CA – Motorcycle Crash in Camarillo Results in One Death

A man identified as 43-year-old Colby Jame S. was killed after a fatal motorcycle accident in Camarillo on Sunday evening, June 13.

[06-13-2021] Ventura County, CA - Motorcycle Crash in Camarillo Results in One DeathThe accident happened at around 40:09 p.m. on the southbound side of Highway 101, just north of Camarillo Springs Road. The victim was heading southbound in his 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle when a 2018 Nissan Versa suddenly crashed into the motorcycle.

The Ventura County Fire crews responded to the scene. Despite their life-saving measures, the motorcycle rider, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan Versa was identified only as a 17-year-old girl. It was unclear whether she was injured in the accident.

Authorities are currently investigating the case. They will attempt to determine whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
