At least one person was hurt after a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Oak View on Monday afternoon, June 14.

A pileup was reported in the afternoon. A car reportedly lost control and collided head-on with four other vehicles. How the collision occurred, and the reason why it happened have not been established.

At least one person was seriously injured in the accident. The injured party was immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment. The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the cause of the accident.
