[11-07-20] Yolo County, CA – One Person Seriously Injured After a Head-On Crash in Capay

One unidentified person was seriously injured after a major two-vehicle head-on collision in Capay on Saturday morning, November 7.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the accident transpired at around 2:00 a.m. on County Road 14 near County Road 85.

A Honda Civic and a minivan collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. One of the vehicles veered off the highway and down an embankment due to the severity of the impact.

One person sustained serious injuries due to the crash. They were airlifted to Kaiser Hospital in Vacaville for treatment. A dog was killed in the wreck.
