[01-02-2024] 20-Year-Old Stockton Motorcyclist Killed Following Crash Involving Semi-Truck On I-5 Near StocktonA 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck near Stockton early Tuesday morning, January 2, 2024.

The California Highway Patrol reported the accident happened around 5:10 a.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 5 near French Camp Road.

According to authorities, a motorcycle and a big rig were involved in the collision, but the cause is uncertain. As a result of the crash, the rider was thrown from his bike and was declared dead on the scene.

The northbound I-5 was closed for 30 minutes while officers investigated the incident. The authorities identified the rider’s age and residence but have not revealed his name.
