[01-06-2022] Two-Vehicle Crash in Santa Maria Injures OneAn unidentified older woman was injured following a rollover collision in Santa Maria on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened in the 500 block of Mariposa Way in Santa Maria.

The older woman was traveling on E. Mariposa Way when her vehicle collided with another car for unclear reasons. The older adult then continued driving before crashing into a truck and rolling over.

The woman sustained moderate injuries following the crash. She was airlifted to a nearby area hospital for treatment.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the accident. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
