[01-13-2024] Ventura County, CA – 35-Year-Old Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle in Oxnard

A 35-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Oxnard on Saturday evening, January 13, 2024.

According to the Oxnard Police Department, the collision happened on Wooley Road at Oxnard Boulevard.

A 2002 Chevy Avalanche driven by a 48-year-old man reportedly caused the pedestrian’s serious injuries.

The victim was transported to VCMC in an unknown condition while the driver remained at the scene.

Speed and DUI were dismissed as factors in the collision. Further details have yet to be released by the authorities.
