[01-14-2022] Two-Vehicle Collision near Fort Tejon Road Results in One DeathOne person was killed following a deadly two-vehicle collision near Fort Tejon Road on Friday morning, January 14, 2022.

The fatal accident happened at approximately 3:40 p.m. in the area of Interstate 5 near Fort Tejon Road.

A 2021 Alfa Romeo and a 2015 Ford van collided on the roadway under unclear circumstances. How the collision occurred and why it happened have not been established.

Due to the severity of the impact, the Ford rolled over and landed on its side while the Alfa Romeo came to a rest in the number two lanes.

Sadly, the Alfa Romeo driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile. The Ford driver sustained moderate injuries in the crash and was taken to Kern Medical for treatment.

It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. An active investigation is currently underway.
