[01-28-2023] Calaveras County, CA – Car Crashes Into Tree on Highway 26, Two Reported Injuries

Two people were injured after a single-vehicle crash in Valley Springs, Calaveras County, early Saturday morning, January 28, 2023.

According to authorities, the collision transpired around 2:00 a.m. on Highway 26 near Lower Double Springs Road.

Reports stated that two locals of Stockton, including a young child, sustained severe injuries.

Paramedics rushed both victims to a trauma center in the central valley. A helicopter was requested but could not respond due to dense fog.
