[02-02-2024] Riverside County, CA – Two Female Students Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle in Ramona

Two female students were injured after being struck by a vehicle in the neighborhood of Ramona in Riverside on Friday morning, February 2, 2024.

According to the Riverside Police Department, the collision occurred around 8:13 a.m. in front of Ramona High School at 7675 Magnolia Avenue.

Reports indicate that a car was heading eastbound when it hit the two girls from Ramona High who were on a crosswalk, causing one to be propelled approximately 40 feet and to land under another car. The other girl was also thrown 60 feet away from where she was struck.

Both victims were transported to the hospital and are expected to recover. Meanwhile, the male driver was also taken to the hospital for observation.

Further details on the crash and the conditions of the victims have yet to be released by the authorities.
