A male bicyclist was killed after a bicycle vs. vehicle collision near Stockton on early Monday morning, February 5, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident happened around 5:00 a.m. along El Dorado Street near Arch Airport Road.

CHP stated that the bicyclist was out on the road on a rainy, dark time when he was hit by a car. The driver of the automobile, a 32-year-old woman, failed to see him on time but reportedly tried to avoid him. She remained on the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

The collision claimed the life of the rider. As of now, his name has not been disclosed.
