[02-06-2024] Riverside County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Green Acres

A 63-year-old male pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Winchester, Riverside County, on Tuesday evening, February 6, 2024.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal accident happened at about 6:45 p.m. on the eastbound Highway 74, between Winchester Road and Truelson Avenue.

Authorities declared the pedestrian, later identified as Richie T., dead on the scene. He was reportedly trying to cross the highway when he got hit by the vehicle.

There were no further details available at the time. The incident has since been turned over to the California Highway Patrol for further investigation.
