[02-12-2023] Madera County, CA – 19-Year-Old Woman Struck and Killed in Head-On Collision Near Highway 41

A single-vehicle collision claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman in Madera County on Sunday night, February 12, 2023.

The deadly collision reportedly occurred around 6:00 p.m. near Avenue 15 and Highway 41.

According to authorities, 24-year-old Lorenzo M. was operating a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro when he crossed the opposing lane and struck a Mini Cooper head-on.

Due to the impact, a 19-year-old Madera woman was killed. Her identity has not yet been made public.

Meanwhile, the Camaro driver had significant injuries and was transferred to a nearby trauma center.

It is suspected that alcohol may have played a role in the collision.
