[02-12-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash Injured Several People in Apple Valley

Several people were rushed to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Apple Valley on Sunday night, February 12, 2023.

Authorities confirmed that the collision occurred around 5:28 p.m. at Apple Valley Road and Symeron Road intersection.

According to reports, responders rushed to the scene and discovered a severely damaged Ford pickup truck and two motorcycles.

It took four helicopters to transfer the critically injured occupants to various trauma centers.

A male rider from one motorcycle was critically injured, as were a male rider and a female pillion rider from the second motorcycle.

At least one person from the truck was listed in critical condition, and no information about any passengers was available.

Based on preliminary reports, when the collision occurred, the Ford pickup truck attempted to turn onto Apple Valley Road from Symeron Road.

According to a witness, the two motorcycles were racing at high speeds on Apple Valley Road just before the collision.

Apple Valley Road was closed between Mondamon Road and Chamber Lane while authorities conducted an extensive investigation.

The road was likely closed for several hours.
