[02-12-2023] Shasta County, CA – One Person Killed, Two More Hospitalized in Rollover Crash on Interstate 5

A single-vehicle crash claimed one person’s life and injured two people in Anderson on Sunday night, February 12, 2023.

Reports indicated that the fatal collision occurred around 5:00 p.m. on northbound Interstate 5 near Deschutes Road.

According to authorities, a Toyota Rav4 overturned and ended up about 30 feet off the road on its four wheels. The vehicle carried three people inside.

When paramedics were called, they pronounced one victim dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the other two victims were airlifted to the hospital with moderate to severe injuries.

No drugs, alcohol, or high speeds were allegedly involved.

Details on the victims will not be released until their families have been notified.
