[02-19-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – Two People Injured Following Multi-Vehicle Crash in Cajon Pass

Two people were taken to a nearby hospital after a three-vehicle collision on Interstate 15 on Sunday, February 19, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls around 12:00 p.m. about a three-vehicle collision, with one of the vehicles overturned on northbound Interstate 15 about two miles after the Highway 138 exit.

One of the vehicles flipped over as a result of the collision of three vehicles on the highway.

According to CHP dispatch, the involved vehicles were a black Chevrolet Trax small SUV and an unidentified black sedan that struck the semi-tractor-trailer’s side.

All those hurt in the collision received aid from firefighters. Two ambulances were requested to transport two people who had unknown injuries.

It is still unknown what caused the collision at this time.

The Inland Office of the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
