A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Sacramento on Tuesday evening, February 27, 2024.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, the collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. between Norwood Avenue and Taylor Street, near Robla Community Park.

Authorities stated that the victim sustained significant injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Bell Avenue was closed for a collision investigation. Sacramento police advised motorists to take alternative routes.
