[03-19-2023] One Person Killed in a Fatal Crash Involving Truck and Car on Oswald RoadOne person was killed in a fatal crash involving a truck and a car on Oswald Road, Sutter County, on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the car was traveling at about 65 MPH on Highway 99 when a truck swerved on the left side. The vehicle crashed into the truck’s left side and was wedged below.

The car driver died after the crash, while the truck driver named Sandeep K. reported the accident to 911.

For roughly two hours, authorities closed off the intersection of Barry Road and Oswald Road on Highway 99 to investigate.

Authorities have ruled out DUI in the said accident. No further information was released.
