[03-23-2022] Humboldt County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Bicycle Crash Near Highway 101

One unidentified person was killed following a deadly crash involving a bicycle near Highway 101 on Wednesday evening, March 23, 2022.

The collision transpired at approximately 4:47 p.m. on Herrick Avenue between Highway 101 and Elk River Road.

The bicyclist collided with a truck for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.
