[03-31-2023] Disabled Pedestrian Hospitalized After Car Collision Along Market StreetA disabled pedestrian in a wheelchair was hospitalized after a car collision along Market Street, San Diego, on a Friday evening, March 31, 2023.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash happened around 7:34 p.m. at the intersection of Market Street and 25th Street.

The disabled person, about 60 years old, was about to cross the street when an SUV struck him.

The victim sustained a severe head injury and was rushed to a local hospital. On the other hand, the 32-year-old driver did not receive any injury.

The authorities are currently investigating the collision.
