[04-10-2023] San Mateo County, CA – 37-Year-Old Bicyclist Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Redwood City

A 37-year-old bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Redwood City on a Monday afternoon, April 10, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 5:00 p.m. along Cañada Road near Filoli Garden.

The bicyclist was a 37-year-old Filipino who was struck by a vehicle going northbound.

The bicyclist was declared dead at the scene, while the driver and the passenger of the Acura were transported to a nearby hospital.

The authorities have yet to determine the cause of the crash.
